This is such a beautiful perspective shift. We have to remember that as creatives, rest is productive!

Not just sitting around, but rather *active* rest. Doing things that bring you joy in the name of resetting & recharging the creative juices!

10000%! I've just written my to do list for tomorrow and a line item is just 'slowly reintroduce intentional creative practice into my day'. I'm not sure what it will look like, but I know it simply needs to be slow, restful, and low pressure.

In an interview I listened to, artist Kim Krans (best known for The Wild Unknown Tarot and oracle decks) talked about how we can live our life as if it were art in itself. It doesn't have to be something grand; more like in the way we move through the world, how we fold a bedsheet, the color we choose to wear that day, the 'little things'. I've carried that with me since then; it speaks to living vibrantly & intentionally, which has brought me to more moments of presence and peaceful joy for simply being alive 🧡✨️

Lovely summary. 😊

Gosh you’ve made me miss my typewriter so much. I got it as a kid and I think I got rid of in one of those “trying to get rid of things you don’t use moments”.

Lately, I’ve been wanting to make my own paper and use the typewriter to leave poetry or uplifting words around. So it’s been on my mind lately.

I loved seeing you enjoy yours! ✨
